Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop furnace systems for both new installations and upgrade projects.
  • Perform detailed technical analyses and assessments to ensure designs meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Establish and deliver performance assurance strategies for furnace systems.
  • Conduct and validate complex technical calculations related to furnace performance and efficiency.
  • Prepare and distribute essential project documentation, including specifications, reports, and technical drawings.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering teams, as well as external suppliers, to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Liaise with suppliers to optimise equipment design, ensuring cost-effective and efficient procurement.
  • Innovate and refine furnace technology, continuously improving system efficiency and performance.
  • Develop advanced techniques for process design, including optimising furnace configurations for specific project needs.

Team & Leadership:

  • Oversee and lead research and development activities related to furnace systems and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities within the industry.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, experience documents, and technical materials for potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain high standards for procedures and technical guidelines to ensure quality and consistency in all furnace designs.
  • Collaborate with technology teams in different offices to ensure global consistency in designs and practices.
  • Share industry best practices and expertise across multiple global offices.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fired heater, boiler, or furnace design.
