Your new company You will be joining a forward-looking niche subcontractor in the midlands that focus on Engineering, Utility & Land Surveying in the UK. They have previously worked on projects such as, HS2, Silvertown, British library, major airports and Hinckley Point C. My client work collaboratively to successfully develop innovative solutions to provide Computer aided design (CAD), Geographical Information System (GIS) and Building Information Modelling (BIM). As they are now expanding rapidly, they are now looking for a Setting Out Engineer. Your new role As Utility Surveyor, you will have experience working with modern survey methods and devices, including total stations, GPS, and data collectors. You can accurately and consistently record underground utility assets and manhole inspection reports, providing Project Managers and CAD Operators with completed utility survey reports that meet industry standards. You will build and maintain client relationships. What you’ll need to succeed In order to be successful, adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively. The ideal candidate should be experienced with electromagnetic location, ground penetrating radar, and GOS/GNSS acquisition, and have a good understanding of industry standards like PAS 128 and TSA. Proficiency with surveying equipment such as GPR, CAT, and genny is essential.
