University Apprenticeship Administrator needed in Manchester. This role will start ASAP and pays £14 per hour. This role is ongoing. An Enhanced DBS is desired but not essential as it can be done before starting.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Funding administration
  • Managing the admin process of apprenticeship funding
  • Running audit and compliance checks
  • Producing reports and running queries
  • Managing departmental inbox
  • Tracking insurance certificates
  • Data entry
  • Checking and confirming eligibility of apprentices
  • Liaising with clients and learners
  • Providing first line of contact via Emails, telephone calls

About you

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and positive telephone manner
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain empathy with students and clients
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate/accessible and organised documentation
  • Ability to use email, internet applications, MS Windows operating system, including Excel and tracking tools to support this role
  • Ability to apply numerical skills to analyse data, interpretation of facts and figures presented in the form of statistical tables and diagrams, thinking critically and checking for errors or variance from targets
  • Passionate about client service with a positive approach to dealing with people
  • Used to working in a fast paced and dynamic environment

Successful candidates will need to have an Enhanced DBS check carried out.
