My client, an ambitious FTSE-listed financial services firm, is looking to appoint a Senior Group Accountant to take ownership of the consolidated monthly forecast, annual budget, and longer-term plans, as well as providing input into various regulatory forecasts.
This key role will:
- Assist with the end-to-end consolidated budgeting and forecasting process.
- Prepare annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and longer-term financial plans.
- Consolidate returns from financial control teams to create a comprehensive group-wide budget and forecast.
- Work closely with Strategic Finance to produce high quality, timely, and robust Board and Executive reports.
- Work closely with the regulatory team to help capital and liquidity forecasting.
- Track financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing commentary and actionable recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline budgeting and forecasting processes.
