Main Duties:
- Scheduled maintenance and repair of building services assets
- Respond to breakdowns and reactive calls
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs or advise on actions
- Monitor plant, equipment, and systems to ensure service continuity
- Conduct dynamic risk assessments and escalate concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
- Ensure compliance with COSHH regulations for hazardous materials
- Review maintenance procedures and complete engineers logs
- Assist in creating SOPs and EOPs
- Available for overtime or shift work
- Maintain company brand standards
- Regular contact with Service Desk, Supervisors, Contract Managers, and Customer contacts
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Report near misses, accidents, and incidents
- Notify line manager of any lapses in procedures or control measures
Qualifications and Experience:
- C&G Level 3 or equivalent in relevant subject (Mechanical, Electrical, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration)
- ONC/HNC building services engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering
- NVQ Level 3
- Recognized EITB apprenticeship (Maintenance and Operations Engineering MOET), or similar
- 2+ years of experience in engineering and maintenance services within the building services industry
- Fully conversant with electrical and mechanical maintenance activities
- Competency in basic IT and computer skills
