What the Conveyancing Legal Assistant job involves:
- Supporting fee earners in managing plot sales and residential conveyancing files from instruction through to completion.
- Preparing contracts, issuing sales packs, and responding to enquiries.
- Acting as a key liaison point for developers, estate agents, buyers, and solicitors.
- Maintaining case management systems and ensuring accurate document management.
- Helping to drive transactions forward to meet tight deadlines and client expectations.
Skills required:
- Previous experience in a legal Assistant / other legal support role within a conveyancing environment or an Estate Agency background with a knowledge of sales progression would be beneficial.
- Experience with plot sales would be highly advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proactive, with a positive attitude and excellent attention to detail.

- This job could be worked over either 4 or 5 days a week (Friday is essential as it’s a busy day for completions of sales).
