Renowned for delivering high-quality surfacing solutions for various highway projects, this company upholds a reputation for excellence and reliability in the industry.

Role Overview:
An experienced Highways Surfacing Estimator is sought to join the team. The ideal candidate must possess prior experience as an Estimator within the highways sector, showcasing a profound understanding of surfacing projects and estimation processes.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates for highways surfacing projects.
• Collaborating with project managers and clients to comprehend project requirements.
• Analysing project specifications, drawings, and site conditions to prepare detailed estimates.
• Conducting site visits to assess scope and gather necessary information.
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive quotes.
• Maintaining current knowledge of industry standards and pricing trends.

Essential Experience

• Essential: Previous experience working as an Estimator in the highways sector.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
