As a Pharmacy Checker, you will be responsible for the second checking of all controlled drugs under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Technician. The role will involve making accurate entries into controlled drug registers. You’ll be required to support and provide a timely and efficient pharmaceutical service to the prison wings.
As an integral member of the Pharmacy Team, you’ll contribute to the development of and support implementation of medicine management strategy and associated services and projects You may be required to take on a role of working across multiple Pharmacy Services if and when required.
It goes without saying that you’ll be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail and have good communication skills – both verbal and written. Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team would be beneficial, as is experience within a Pharmacy service.

You’ll receive an annual salary up to £XXX per annum FTE – depending on experience. (Refer to national salary template. Add FTE if a part-time role)
