Structural Engineer (4-5 Years Experience) Specializing in Heavy Civils – Concrete & Steel Frames Are you a passionate and skilled structural engineer with 4 to 5 years of experience? Do you have a proven track record working on large-scale heavy civil projects, including concrete and steel frames? If so than this position is probably for you! Client: My client are a leading engineering consultancy, delivering innovative, high-quality solutions for complex infrastructure and construction projects. The team is growing, and they are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer who can contribute to exciting and challenging developments across the civil engineering sector. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the design, analysis, and detailing of structural systems for heavy civil projects, including concrete foundations, steel frame buildings, and large-scale infrastructure. * Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure efficient and safe engineering solutions are implemented from concept through to construction. * Perform structural calculations, produce detailed drawings, and review project specifications. * Manage the coordination and communication with contractors, architects, and other engineering disciplines. * Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and quality standards. * Assist in the preparation of technical reports, project documentation, and presentations. What We’re Looking For: * A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. * 4-5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on heavy civils (e.g., concrete and steel frames, foundations, large infrastructure). * Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or similar). * Strong understanding of structural principles and design codes (Eurocodes, BS, AISC, etc.). * Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbal
