You must be able to demonstrate that you have worked in a role where you were expected to build furniture flat packs or equipment. You will have previously been involved in the assembly of furniture and able to evidence a high level of agility in your previous roles in the build of equipment. The role will involve working independently building cabinets for the NHS which are placed into care homes, hospitals, or independent living.
We supply furniture to external clients within the care sector and NHS. We take a lot of pride in the furniture we build as each one must be sturdy, well made and user friendly. You will be someone who has a great eye for detail, strives for perfection, loves showcasing the role you do and is efficient in every task you undertake. You will be hard working, like to be kept busy and take pride in the work you undertake. Orders are made in a bespoke way for each trust we supply to. Our operation is located in Road 5 in Winsford. You will be working within a friendly supportive team but also be able to work independently. Your role will allow you to be self-sufficient and work independently within a time scale to build the equipment.
What your day will consist of:
- Working as a team - supporting each other
- Locating orders for the day and assembly of the cabinets
- Building the furniture to order ensuring you follow health and safety guidelines
- Quality checking the assembly of each item to ensure before it is sent out that it is made to the correct specification
