HGV 1 Driver

An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients based in Wednesbury has become available for HGV 1 drivers on block bookings with a view to temp to perm opportunities.

As an HGV 1 Driver you will be responsible for:

• Driving HGV class 1 vehicle
• Completing vehicle checks
• General haulage deliveries
• Ensuring loads are secure (using rachet straps)
• Completing paperwork and taking load pictures
• Using a handheld device for deliveries

To be considered for this HGV Driver role you will need:

• C+E Licence + in date CPC and Tachograph card.
• Held C+E category for 2 years (more than 1 year may be considered)
• Minimum 6 months experience
• Competent in using rachet straps
• No more than 6 points (no DD, DR, IN endorsements
• Available Monday to Friday

PAYE HGV Driver Pay Rates and benefits are as follows:

• Days – £16.00
• Nights – £17.00
• Saturdays – £18.00
• Sundays – £20.00
• Block bookings (4 weeks per block)
• Potential temp to perm
