Chroma is currently recruiting for a Product Owner to join a Financial Services business based in Manchester. They are looking for someone with strong experience as a Product Owner working on digital journeys. Offering up to £70K with hybrid working (3 days per week on-site in central Manchester), this is an excellent opportunity for someone to play a major role in a new venture for the business.

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for researching and determining the business needs to create an end-to-end digital journey for customers accessing their services. You will be the key link between the development team and the wider business in order to build out the product roadmap. This role would suit someone who is up for a challenge and has strong experience working with non-technical stakeholders.

Product Owner Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining product vision
  • Creating a product roadmap
  • Creating user stories
  • Leading design workshops
  • Promoting agile ways of working throughout the business and participating in agile ceremonies
  • Managing stakeholder expectations (both technical and non-technical)
  • Leading UAT processes
  • Supporting implementation

Essential skills:

  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Agile experience
  • Experience working on a digital journey product from inception to delivery
  • Experience in a regulated industry with understanding of risk and compliance (ideally in financial services)
  • Experience in a B2C environment

Desirable skills:

  • Agile certifications
  • Experience in a small-medium size business
