DCS Group is looking for a Category Manager to turn category and shopper data into actionable insights that create real value for our retail partners. Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, This role is ideal for someone with experience in Category Management, ready to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities
Customer Collaboration:
- Build and maintain strong relationships, becoming a trusted, independent advisor to your buyers.
- Deliver monthly updates to accounts and proactively analyse performance to provide an insightful, challenging perspective on the category.
- Optimise range and space in retail and wholesale partners through active review of customer and market data.
- Identify risks and opportunities with distribution and rate of sale, making robust recommendations on promotional strategies and new product development (NPD).
Insight-Driven Strategy:
- Develop and refine a top-line category vision for customer use.
- Translate data into compelling narratives, training and coaching the business to maximise data and insights.
- Provide a results-driven, outcome-focused approach to category management.
- Lead by example in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, from deep data dives to designing growth strategies.

- Results-Oriented: Proven success in delivering insight-led projects and driving value in your business.

- FMCG Category Management: Experience, ideally in Household, Health, or Beauty categories.
- Data Savvy: Confident using tools like Kantar, Nielsen, IRI, Circana, and Sales Out data.
- Customer-Focused: Proven experience in a customer-facing role delivering growth and results.
