About Our Client

Our client is a multi billion revenue global organisation within the manufacturing sector.

Job Description

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy to support the businesses transition to an independent entity.
  • Technology Design: Architect and implement a robust IT infrastructure, encompassing hardware, software, cloud solutions, networks, digital platforms and cybersecurity measures.
  • Organisational Development: Build and lead (from the ground up) a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison with the parent company, guiding conversations and negotiations to ensure alignment and support both during the carve-out process, and on an ongoing basis.
  • Technology Planning: Identify, compare, and select technology solutions to meet current and future needs, assessing options to deliver projects in-house or externally.
  • Roadmap Creation: Analyse the business landscape and create a detailed roadmap for delivering a standalone IT department that meets operational and strategic goals.
  • Legacy Integration: Evaluate existing technology systems and develop solutions to integrate or replace legacy systems effectively.

The Successful Applicant

Candidates must have held multiple CIO roles within very large global organisations, and must have carved out large independent businesses to stand alone from a parent company (from an IT perspective). We are looking for an expert CIO with this skill set so this is non-negotiable for this role.

What's on Offer

A generous daily rate or salary and package to compensate for level of experience. There is the opportunity to work a hybrid pattern, but candidates will need to be based in the UK, and be in London 2 days a week.
