About the Role

My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Building Surveyor with strong valuations expertise to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of building surveying services, with a particular focus on valuations, technical due diligence, defect diagnosis, and project management. You will work closely with a diverse client base, including property managers, investors, landlords, and private clients, providing expert advice that supports informed decision-making across residential, commercial, and mixed-use portfolios. Your work will span across initial inspections, report writing, strategic advice, and managing refurbishment and repair projects, ensuring best practice and regulatory compliance throughout. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, commercially minded surveyor who thrives on variety, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to maintaining the highest professional standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake building surveys, inspections, and valuations across a range of property types
  • Prepare high-quality, detailed technical and valuation reports
  • Conduct defect analysis, condition assessments, and reinstatement cost assessments
  • Support project delivery including contract administration and project management
  • Provide technical due diligence for acquisitions and disposals
  • Liaise directly with clients, providing clear and actionable advice

About the Requirements

  • MRICS qualified (or equivalent)

About the Salary

Salary is negotiable, dependent on the individual's experience but up to £60,000. Other benefits include generous pension contributions, generous annual leave entitlement with annual increase, multiple perks, and remote working available.
