We are seeking an experienced and passionate Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to implement Choice Support’s PBS strategy. You will work to create capable environments that promote wellbeing and quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities and/or Autism, while reducing challenging behaviour and restrictive practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional assessments and behavioural analyses
  • Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans
  • Contribute to the design of new and existing services for individuals with complex needs
  • Deliver and develop training, including PBS and PROACT-SCIPr-UK® (with certification support provided)
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external professionals

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in learning disabilities, Autism, and behaviours that challenge
  • Strong values base and commitment to person-centred support
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and able to manage workload under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration
  • Relevant PBS qualification (IABA, Tizard Centre, Welsh Centre or equivalent)
  • Master’s level qualification highly desirable
