PE Teacher needed for a Good Secondary School in Southwark.

About the role:

Are you a creative PE Teacher looking for a new challenge? Complete Classroom Services are currently working with a Good Secondary School based in the heart of Southwark who are looking for a PE Teacher for Maternity Cover to teach PE to KS3-KS4 students. To start in September 2025 for a 1 year contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of all students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their PE skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development to improve teaching practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Requirements:

  • QTS
  • Experience teaching PE up to KS3/4/5
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
  • Good knowledge of the Curriculum
