We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing invaluable support to individuals in the Liverpool area. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with various needs, including but not limited to, personal care, emotional support, and practical assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and person-centred support to individuals in the Liverpool community.
  • Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, in a dignified manner.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to individuals, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.
  • Assist with household tasks, such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and grocery shopping, to ensure individuals can live comfortably in their own homes.
  • Accompany individuals to appointments, outings, and activities, promoting social engagement and community inclusion.
  • Monitor and document individual progress, reporting any concerns or changes in behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and support for individuals.

Requirements:

  • 6 months UK experience is essential.
  • Previous experience in a support worker or similar role.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on individual and organizational needs.
