Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Accountant to work for a great company based in the Crawley, West Sussex area. The Group Accountant will be supporting with the group accounting, management accounts, financial reporting and cash flow management. The accountant role is ideal for someone with VAT - foreign sales tax experience and dealing with overseas entities.

Salary: up to £40K

Location: Hybrid working - Crawley

Hours: 9-5 Mon-Fri

Accountant duties:

  • Month End Financial and Management reporting
  • Reconciliations of balance sheets, revenue reporting etc
  • Processing of invoices
  • Statutory Accounts
  • Reconcile monthly uplift accounts, accruals and prepayments
  • Process VAT returns
  • Monthly reconciliation of intercompany GL accounts/debtors/creditors
  • Process supplier payments
  • Assist with budgeting

Skills and experience:

  • Proven accounting experience, working in a similar management accountant / accountant role
  • Ideally be CIMA / ACCA part qualified, studier or finalist
  • Excellent excel skills
