This is a brand new role within a leading Glasgow full service digital agency known for a creative and passionate approach to their cutting edge projects and great array of clients. You’ll be working in a collaborative and sociable environment where your career progression and ongoing digital education is key. You’ll be working hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in their Glasgow city centre office, 3 days WFH).

We’re looking for a highly organised digital professional who has a passion for bringing projects to life in a vibrant and dynamic team.

SEO and PPC Specialist

We’re looking for a talented digital marketing specialist in SEO and PPC to join this growing team in Glasgow’s City Centre. You’ll work alongside a hugely talented digital marketing team working for some of Scotland’s biggest brands. The team is growing with loads of opportunity for your career to grow within the team.

What our client is looking for:
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • The ability to think strategically and analytically
  • Be organised and self-motivated with good attention to detail
  • Be a team player, confident and outgoing
Key skills/experience:
  • Minimum two years’ experience of working in a digital marketing environment
  • Extensive experience of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager
  • Experience of producing insightful reports in Lookers Studio
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office; especially Excel, Word and Outlook
SEO:
  • Strong technical, on-page and off-page SEO knowledge with an ethical and innovative approach to link building
  • Sound knowledge of local search optimisation
  • Knowledge of the latest algorithmic updates by major search engines and how they impact SEO
  • Experience of conducting keyword research
PPC:
  • Experience of managing successful paid search, Google Shopping, Display and Remarketing campaigns
  • Experience of producing optimal landing pages for paid campaigns
  • Technical knowledge of Google Ads, keyword research to inform campaign structure, writing engaging ads and Google Analytics tracking codes, as well as best practice implementation
Optional extras:
  • Experience of using Content Management Systems, such as Umbraco, Magento and WordPress
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS

It may be that you’re stronger in one discipline but are happy to work across both - and have the ability to skill up/get up to speed in the other.

Salary to £35,000 + great benefits.
