The role of a Fire and Security Service Engineer:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire and Security Service Engineer to join our clients team. As a key member of their field operations, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, small works, and fault diagnosis of fire alarm systems, security systems (CCTV, intruder alarms, access control), and related equipment for both commercial and residential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintenance, faults, and repairs across fire alarm systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems
- Perform reactive and preventative maintenance to ensure systems are compliant and effective
- Diagnose and repair faults efficiently, minimising client disruption
- Provide technical advice and excellent support to customers
- Complete all relevant documentation and reports
- Work in accordance with company policies and safety standards
- Maintain strong customer relationships through top-quality service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire and Security Service Engineer
- Strong knowledge of fire and security systems and industry standards
- Confident diagnosing faults in electrical and fire/security equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within the Glasgow area
