A leading CDM and Building Regulations specialist consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Principal Designer to join their growing team in the North West.

The Senior Principal Designer Role
As a Senior Principal Designer, you will lead complex projects across various sectors, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations and integrating health and safety into the design and construction process. Working closely with high profile clients, contractors, and design teams, you will provide expert guidance on risk management and regulatory requirements.

Senior Principal Designer Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Principal Designer duties in accordance with CDM 2015 regulations.
- Provide expert guidance on design risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Lead client and project team meetings, ensuring health and safety considerations are embedded at every stage.
- Mentor and develop junior team members to maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Collaborate on a range of exciting projects, from commercial to industrial developments.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor compliance and provide safety advice.
- Support business growth through strong client relationships and exceptional project delivery.
The Senior Principal Designer
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Professional membership with APS (IMaPS or CMaPS) or similar accreditation.
- 4 + years' experience in a Principal Designer role.
- Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and health and safety best practices.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to team management and project delivery.
