A prestigious hedge fund is seeking a Senior Quantitative Analyst to support a Macro Portfolio Manager specializing in Rates. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of quantitative research, risk management, and trading strategy execution within a world-class investment team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance front-office tools and analytics to support the PM’s decision-making process.
- Design and Build Research Tools and Data Sets.
- Design and implement analytical UIs and data visualizations using Excel, Jupyter, DASH, PyXLL, or similar platforms.
- Utilize Python, R, or other dynamically-typed languages alongside a statically-typed language (C#, C++, Java, etc.) for data analysis and model implementation.
- Leverage data science tools and libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) for quantitative research and strategy development.
- Collaborate with traders and other quantitative professionals to support systematic trading strategies.
- Provide analytical insights into interest rate markets, trading strategies, and risk management.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience developing front-office or analytics in a trading environment.
- Strong programming skills in one or more statically-typed languages (C#, C++, Java, etc.) and one or more dynamically-typed languages (Python, R, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of interest rate derivatives, including pricing models and risk management frameworks.
- Experience with common trading strategies and systematic trading infrastructure.
- Ability to work closely with a high-performing Portfolio Manager in a fast-paced environment.
