Our client is a fintech business looking to recruit home-based, employed Financial Advisors to join their exciting business, disrupting the UK financial planning market. They are proud advocates of utilising their smart, proprietary technology; their B-Corp status and their mission to provide affordable financial planning to clients. The business is thriving having successfully achieved seed funding with the technology in place and 4,000 clients already on board! They are now ready to expand their team of Financial Advisors to meet the rapid growth, as they have several institutions engaged in introducing leads/clients to the business.
Being a fintech, their Financial Advisors are in a unique position to benefit from their proprietary technology, which undertakes a huge amount of the heavy lifting throughout the whole advice process and relationship management process, powered by their app. The business operates two models:
- The lower tier receives AI lead solutions through conversational AI and intelligent automation, on an affordable but effective basis, with access to request ‘advice on demand’ from their team of qualified Financial Advisors.
- The higher tier receives the ‘traditional’ IFA service with ongoing service agreements in place to review their financial planning needs.
The beauty of their technology is it enables them to help all clients, with no minimum or maximum, with no barrier on location across the UK, due to advice being delivered remotely. The typical client you will be supporting is the underserved mass affluent market and HNW clients through their traditional service, whilst also helping clients with advice on demand.
There is no pressure to self-generate clients due to the leads available, however our client is looking for individuals aligned with their mission and by nature spread the word to their community and network, which should in turn generate leads. If you have transferable clients (free of restrictive covenants), there is opportunity to receive a cash/equity deal for joining and the usual employed Financial Advisor package.
Financial Advisors Requirements:
- You must be passionate about their mission to revolutionise the personal financial sector with the aim of creating a brighter financial future for all.
- You must hold full Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
- Our client is open to Junior Financial Advisors through to Financial Planning Directors.
- Individuals with transferable clients (free of restrictive covenants) would be advantageous.
Financial Advisor Benefits:
- Employed role with salary depending on experience.
- Bonus scheme more focused on behavioural outcomes and delivering great service regardless of client value.
- All employees become part of their EMI scheme with equity after 12 months.
- Home based role with occasional travel to their offices in London for team meetings.
