We are exclusively working with our client who are an award winning global consultancy, they are looking to hire a Senior Backend Developer to work within their Digital team. The Digital Team operates like a start-up while being embedded within the core of my client. This allows the team to rapidly develop their innovative products using modern tech/methodologies, while benefiting from a 50-year-old track record of delivering excellence along with the comfort of fantastic job security.
You will be working in a cross-functional team made up of passionate frontend and backend developers, product owners, UX/UI designers, and platform engineers. They have several projects, including a new greenfield project in which you will play a key part in working on their Python backend services, using Flask.
Their tech stack:
- Python 3 (Flask/FastAPI), Golang, Postgres
- Docker, Kubernetes
- GitHub Enterprise Cloud, Slack, Google Cloud Platform, Datadog
Requirements:
- Python developer with 3+ years commercial experience
- Experience building modern web applications, preference is REST APIs
- Fluent in GIT
- Comfortable working on the command line
