Finance Transformation Accountant - Controls / Process efficiency
Perm - up to £57,000 base salary + bonus
Qualified accountant or QBE with good experience working within accounting divisions.

Our Finance Department is expanding, and we have a new opportunity available for a Finance Transformation Accountant! This role will be part of a new transformation team that will introduce standardisation and drive more efficient, streamlined ways of working across the company.
Reporting directly into the Head of Business and Process Improvements, the successful candidate will work alongside existing BAU team members in management accounts and the shared services transactional team to understand how historic data, current processes and controls can be improved, then execute the changes on behalf of the BAU team, before handing the solution back to them.
You will also be a supportive partner to the BAU teams, helping take them on a journey to a better way of working. - Build relationships with members of the BAU team to gain their trust and be a credible partner in helping them improve ways of working.
- Take an area of known difficulty within either management accounting or transactional shared services and investigate it thoroughly to understand where problems in data, processes and controls exist.
- Collaborate with the BAU teams to design solutions that address historic data issues, enhance finance processes, and implement or upgrade controls around those processes.
- Promote independence by coaching BAU teams to implement new processes and controls and resolve issues on their own when needed.
- Monitor changes to any fixed data, processes and controls to ensure that problems do not reoccur.
