HR Business Partner – Finance, M&A & Operations
£85–90K base + 10–20 % bonus • London EC2 / Hybrid
Middlemore has been retained by a global financial‑services firm to secure a permanent HR Business Partner who will steer c500 colleagues across Finance, M&A and Operations through rapid growth and transformation.
What you’ll tackle
- Lead the people agenda for Finance, M&A and Operations – linking talent strategy to bold commercial goals.
- Guide leaders on org‑design, reward reviews, succession planning and capability build.
- Supercharge a high‑growth M&A unit – integration, talent pipelines and international mobility.
- Pick up complex ER overflow when cases exceed the capacity of a lean specialist team.
- Champion continuous improvement – propose, influence and adapt.
You’ll fit if you
- Bring robust HR generalist and ER depth from banking, fintech or other fast‑paced financial‑services settings.
- Love deep stakeholder partnerships and aren’t afraid to push back – always with solutions in hand.
- Thrive in flat structures, value teamwork and leave diva behaviour at the door.
