We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Installer/installer teams to join our growing company. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the installation of various types of windows in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, where you will enjoy a consistent work flow, great support and the freedom of self-employment.
Duties
- Remove old windows and doors, preparing openings for new installations.
- Measure and fit windows and doors accurately to ensure proper alignment and sealing.
- Install and secure products using the appropriate tools and techniques.
- Apply insulation, weather-stripping, and caulking to prevent air and water leaks.
- Complete interior and exterior finishing work, including trim and moulding.
- Install fascias, soffits, and other roof trims to enhance building aesthetics and functionality.
- Perform repairs and adjustments on existing installations when required.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client needs and ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites.
- Ensure proper functioning of windows, doors, locks, and hardware.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in window and door installation.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for window installation.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
