Brand Manager – Sports Nutrition 12 month contract c.Β£45K-60K plus benefits & bonus UK South/Hybrid Working – 1-2 days/week office TP433124 Super opportunity for smart, ambitious, high-energy marketer to bring their skills and drive to building a fast-growth Sports Nutrition brand. 12 month contract starting soon! Hybrid working with 1 and occasionally 2 days/week in the office based on the South Coast, easily commutable from London. Can you hit the ground running and deliver results at a pace? Interested in sports and nutrition, and available quickly to take on a challenging 12 month contract? Our client is an entrepreneurial and fast-growing manufacturer of sports nutrition and energy products, with 2 successful brands available in major UK retailers and on-line via its own DTC sites and on-line retailers. Its best-in-class products have a reputation for quality and performance, helping athletes, cyclists and fitness enthusiast to train, build strength & endurance, and achieve their goals. With a member of the team going on maternity leave, we’re looking for a talented marketer to take on this exciting 12 month contract, with a remit to drive brand growth, and manage strategic and tactical projects and marketing initiatives. This will include: Leading NPD and EPD product launches Driving the UK DTC business Managing and developing the current product portfolio Developing comms and digital strategies Managing and coaching a direct report In this role, you’ll be working with a team of excited and passionate colleagues in a business 2 years into an aggressive growth plan with ambitious targets that it is currently on track to deliver! The company has built some exciting influencer relationships, and has a number of innovation projects coming down the line, for launch in the UK and internationally. Specific Responsibilities include Creating and implementing the annual brand plan in line with the company 5 year strategy Taking responsibility for the delivery of the brand revenue & profit Creating and delivering a category leading innovation plan spanning EPD and NPD Managing the promotional pricing strategy for retail and DTC channels Building partnerships with complementary brands to help the brands punch above their weight and build awareness and engagement Delivering market leading consumer insights through primary brand research and D2C database research Managing, coaching and developing one direct report Supporting with the development of a best in class Events & Clubs programme to maximise the awareness of the brands from grass roots all the way up to semi-professional athletes Working with agencies and internal teams to develop digital and website assets Skills & Experience Checklist This is a role for a highly-motivated, high-energy, results-driven FMCG or consumer goods marketer with solid experience driving brand growth. Key skills include: Track record of managing integrated comms campaigns across all media, working creatively with limited budgets Proven track record of managing EPD and NPD Strong influencing skills and the ability to manage key stakeholders to drive change Highly results-oriented, able to identify key issues and find appropriate solutions to resolve them Strong planning and organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects and deliver results quickly Exceptional team-building skills, working effectively with others, and understanding different agendas Appetite for learning – someone who absorbs new information and learns new techniques and approaches Passion for nutrition and sport, ideally with some level of involvement in any type of sport/fitness A people person who builds strong relationships internally and externally, inspiring and influencing those around you If you are excited by this opportunity talk to me now.
