We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The successful applicant will be expected to work with a variety of tools and equipment while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and required services.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist in the training of junior technicians when necessary.
Requirements
