As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer you will assist in maintaining all plant and machinery (including internal office fixtures and fittings) including preventative maintenance and reactive work and conduct legislative tests. Play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards and conformity across the sector estate.
As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with H&S policies / procedures
- Assist / support the supervision of sub-contractors on site
- Understand and work with Planet (work control) system, ensuring work/job sheets are completed within agreed timescales
- Complete works to meet departmental targets, SLAs & KPIs
- Collaborate with line-manager / team to deliver best practices and develop cost reduction / efficiency improvement initiatives
- Liaise with all TCE customers to ensure support and requirements are delivered to agreed timescales / standards
- Utilise your basic understanding of following systems to carry out the tasks required: Fire alarms (including weekly testing), BMS system (re controls / temperature setting & adjustments), Mains & local electrical feeds / electrical plant room (Fault finding on electrical and mechanical plant following logical steps to resolve the issue when under pressure), HVAC systems / Fire suppression/gas systems / Fire Alarm Panels / Site drainage systems and Water schematics / systems
- Support ad-hoc projects as required
About You
