A major, multi-billion dollar AUM, leading global credit hedge fund are looking to make a newly created hire for its expanding London office. The hire will sit with a small bank of traders, taking ownership for the European loan operations process (albeit with support from the US team at busy periods). The hire will manage a range of external counterparties / service providers, being the face of the firm from day one in the role. Given that the hire will be part of the trading team, varied / ad-hoc project work can form a core component of the remit during periods of lower volume. Given plans to significantly expand AUM, we expect that there will be an opportunity to hire a junior in the future. Candidates should ideally have 5-10yrs experience (flexibility) – we are open to buy-side, admin or IB candidates. The hiring manager has a strong preference for distressed, LMA/LSTA and Clearpar experience. The role will offer the hire a significant increase on his/her current base salary and a 50-100% bonus potential.
