Management Accountant/ AAT Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA OR ACCA Role / Study Support/ Career Development/ Hybrid Working (2 Days WFH)
Forge Talent are supporting a highly successful and internationally operating business with a requirement within their Management Accounts Team.
This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious AAT qualified or Part ACCA/ CIMA candidate who is keen to further develop their studies and career path.
This position will sit within the European Finance Team and will have a strong focus on product sales and margin analysis, delivering accurate results and financial analysis for products sold globally through European entities.
- Collate, analyse and prepare sales and margin management reports, providing accurate results.
- Prepare, review and take ownership of multiple balance sheet reconciliations.
- Raise journals as required.
- Highlight any potential risks and ensure necessary actions.
- Work with the wider Finance Team to resolve queries.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to provide a broad range of Blue-Chip customers with timely and high-quality financial information.
- Provide detailed sales reporting for existing and potential customers.
- Provide support for the annual sales and margin budgets and forecasts.
- Assist and collaborate with the audit process.
- Support continual process and systems improvements and updates, ensuring best practice.
- Ensure a customer-focused approach and outlook, striving to provide internal and external stakeholders with a high level of service.
Management Accountant Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a Management Accounts or Assistant Management Accounts capacity with exposure to month end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and sales and margin analysis.
- AAT qualified or part ACCA/CIMA qualified with a desire to continue further studies.
- Previous experience in a commercial role with exposure to working within a stock or product-based business.
- A positive and proactive personality and approach to tasks and duties with a desire to develop within an accounting career path.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and blue-chip customers.
- A high degree of attention to detail, with strong analytical skills
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Advanced IT and computerised systems skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks accordingly.
- Proven process improvement abilities are highly advantageous
- Experience of and exposure to product, stock and margin accounting and analysis.
