Crystal Electronics have an opportunity for an Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join our team and supervise the South sector of our National Engineering Team. Within this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the remote electrical team members, supporting the team by providing advice and guidance to our engineers, drive continuous improvement, helping to resolve any ongoing technical problems that arise and ensure engineers are working to the highest health and safety standards.
Location: On the road in the South area, travelling to different sites is part of the role, you will also be required to attend the Head Office on a weekly basis.
Basic Qualifications Required:
- Must have the following qualifications in line with NICEIC guidelines.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary ranges from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum dependent on experience.
- Bonus scheme for extra earning potential.

- 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 per week, weekend working required (mainly Saturdays) with a lieu day of your choice.
- Working hours 8am - 5pm.

The Role:
- Overseeing and supporting the electrical team.
- Supporting with technical advice.
- Take ownership of electrical issues working promptly to rectify them.
- Ensure safety standards are understood, implemented, and maintained by all team members.
- Inspecting and testing completed works and supporting on fault finding and problem solving.
- Travel within the engineering area will be required to support the team.
- Attending weekly meetings at the Earls Barton Head office will be required.
- Delivering work packages to a high standard in commercial and domestic settings.
- Complete work to the industry standard.
- Lead by example - solutions led, flexible, adaptable to our customers' needs.
- Reporting and recording all health and safety issues.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Team Management experience especially with remote teams.
- NICEIC specified qualifications for a Qualified Supervisor.
- ECS gold card.
- Ideally a minimum of 10 years of experience as an Electrician.
- Experience working on residential projects.
- Ability to influence and drive positive attitudes and behaviours with regards to site Health and Safety.
- IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
- Essential knowledge of relevant Health and Safety requirements and Electrical Safe Systems of Work.
- Experience of supervising staff and 3rd parties is essential.
