We are recruiting for an experienced Marketing Manager to join one of the UK’s largest textile/clothing recycling companies who export recycled products to Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. As the Marketing Manager you will lead efforts to enhance the company’s market presence and drive engagement with stakeholders through innovative marketing strategies. This role focuses on promoting sustainable textile recycling solutions and supporting the company’s mission to advance circularity in the textile industry.
Responsibilities
- Website Development & Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and optimisation of the company’s website in order to effectively communicate the company story and ensure a user-friendly experience and alignment with branding goals.
- Branding & Domain Management: Manage and develop the company’s branding strategy, ensuring consistency across all platforms while overseeing domain-related tasks.
- Social Media Marketing: Develop and execute social media strategies to engage audiences, promote services, and build brand awareness.
- Charity Outreach Programs: Collaborate with non-profit organizations to manage charity initiatives that align with the company’s sustainability goals.
- Carbon Footprint Reporting: Track and report on the company’s carbon footprint, contributing to environmental accountability.
- Data & Messaging Management: Coordinate group-wide data management and messaging to ensure consistency across internal and external communications.
- ESG Policy Support: Assisting the Recycling & ESG Director in the writing and communicating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policies to align with industry standards.
- Content Creation: Write literature, including marketing materials, website updates, and internal communications, to support outreach efforts.
- Reporting & Writing: Creating and leading accuracy and standard of written documentation across the business.
Must haves.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong skills in digital marketing tools, branding strategies, and content creation.
- Understanding of environmental legislation and its impacts.
- Knowledge of ESG principles and carbon reporting is a plus.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in marketing roles within sustainability or recycling industries.
