The Role: To assist in the creation and delivery of software training programmes for Howden staff by training them on Insurance Applications, Microsoft Office and any other tailored system(s) to the required levels.

What you'll be doing:

  • Planning, creation and delivery of IT systems and other projects as the need arises both via classroom and virtual.
  • Ability to storyboard and deliver eLearning materials using a variety of applications (e.g. Adobe Captivate and Digital Adoption Solutions (DAS) like WalkMe/WhatFix).
  • Maintain accurate training records.
  • Maintenance of first line user support help functions.
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and other organisations to search out areas for Business training support.
  • Delivery of Insurance software applications, MS Office (incl. Teams/O365) to sophisticated level and other tailored internal IT applications as the need arises.
  • Ability to assess individual and Group needs.
  • Research (where required), plan and prepare/update new/existing materials.
  • Make use of new technology such as DAS and Teams for delivery.
  • Conduct post training assessments to identify areas of improvement and transfer of knowledge.

  • Ability to prioritise work load and balance multiple projects/deliveries.
  • Operates in an honest, professional and ethical manner.
  • Crucial - Prior training delivery experience (classroom and virtually).
  • Crucial – Microsoft Office (Incl. Teams/O365) to advanced level.
  • Experience of crafting/maintaining eLearning (preferably on Adobe Captivate and DAS style platforms).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Highly organised, with good planning/time management skills.
  • Able to work independently and use initiative.
  • Able to positively react to change.
  • Resilient and calm under pressure.
  • Team player, networks and able to build balanced relationships.
