The Engineering College of Technology (ECT) is excited to announce the expansion of our team with a new position: Marketing Coordinator. ECT has recently been established and registered as a higher education provider in the UK. ECT is a sister company of the Australian-based Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT). EIT is an engineering education and training specialist with more than 30 years of association with the engineering industry worldwide. EIT delivers more than 85 industry-driven accredited qualifications and professional development courses, to students in over 160 countries. Students study on-campus and online using an innovative and interactive platform of learning. As we continue to grow, we are delighted to be in the UK with the Engineering College of Technology (ECT).
About the Role
We’re looking for an innovative and results-driven Marketing Coordinator to join ECT and play a key role in expanding our reach, attracting students, and supporting growth through strategic marketing initiatives. This role is ideally for someone looking at progressing into a Marketing Manager role at ECT within two years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and driving results-oriented marketing strategies in conjunction with the Australian based marketing team including digital and print campaigns, SEO/SEM, EDMs, events, and social media advertising.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) handling and optimisation to nurture student prospects along the decision-making process.
- Being responsible for updates on the website.
- Ensuring consistent application of the ECT brand and adherence to all advertising compliance requirements.
- Undertaking regular market research on customers, competitors and industries to apply insights into the marketing and sales strategies for continuous improvement.
- Overseeing the sustainable growth and value of our social media presence.
- Overseeing the timely production of ECT's high quality marketing content and collateral.
- Adequately reporting on the performance of all marketing activities in a timely manner.
- Implementing business-savvy strategies to sustainably increase awareness of the ECT brand, nationally and internationally.
About You:
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (desirable).
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the education sector.
- Previous marketing experience especially planning and executing campaigns across all marketing channels (SEO, PPC, and paid social media).
- Previous marketing experience with social media management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for creating compelling content.
- Familiarity with WordPress as a platform for website management, content creation and SEO optimisation.
- Experience with data analysis and marketing performance tracking.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A creative and strategic thinker with a passion for brand-building and audience engagement.
