You will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying faults on a range of electrical and electronic equipment, recommending solutions.
The role:
- Diagnosing and analysing failures down to component level
- Operation of various testing equipment
- Running automated test procedures
- Completion of test reports and tracing root cause of a failure
- Working to and developing defined test procedures
- Supporting R & D with feedback on faults and recommending fixes where possible
- Undertaking rework and repair
You will:
- Hold a relevant Electronics qualification
- Have extensive experience in electronics assembly, testing and diagnostics and repair
- Be able to work with R & D to recommend improvements
- Confident knowledge of control systems
- Able to read and understand electronic drawings and schematics
- Excellent cross-functional team working skills
