The KPMG Business Services (KBS) and Enterprise-Wide Technology (EWT) functions are a cornerstone of our UK business. Operating from 20 UK locations and sitting with KPMG Central Services, we do work that matters. In these roles, you will be reporting to the Head of Finance for either KBS or EWT. The Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in supporting the financial management and cost control within KBS.

What will you be doing?

  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, building strong relationships providing financial guidance and support for decision-making.
  • Manage the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts, providing challenge where appropriate on affordability and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Day to day management of other team members as required, including work allocation and prioritisation, understanding and supporting training needs and dealing with performance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with firmwide accounting policies, tax regulations, and financial controls and therefore accuracy of financial information reported.
  • Ensure financial risks are identified and managed effectively.

What will you need to do it?

  • Qualified / part-qualified with a recognised accounting body or a relevant degree, or over 10 years relevant experience of accounting in an operational or professional services environment.
  • Proven experience in financial management and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to scrutinize complex financial data and perform advanced financial modelling.
  • Experience of managing and ‘on the job’ coaching of junior colleagues.

With 20 sites across the UK, we can potentially facilitate office work, working from home, flexible hours, and part-time options.
