Peaple Talent has recently partnered with an organically growing consultancy firm based across the UK, hiring an IT Support Engineer to join a dynamic team in Newark-on-Trent. This full-time, onsite role involves providing 2nd line IT support while also assisting with 1st line support and IT administration TEAM

What You’ll Do:

IT Support and Troubleshooting:

• Manage incidents, service requests, and problems using Cherwell Service Desk.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from the 1st line team.
• Deliver basic application support and training to users.

Onsite and Regional Support:

• Provide onsite support to regional offices and enhance IT frameworks.
• Define stakeholder needs and implement support solutions.
• Manage site-specific IT projects, including office moves.
• Handle budget requirements for regional IT initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support role.
• Proven expertise in 2nd line IT support.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and PC imaging software.
• Familiarity with Apple iPhone/iPad products.

Desirable Qualifications:

• ITIL certification is a plus.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Knowledge of automation tools for efficiency improvements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
