Lead End User Compute Engineer required for this enterprise level critical infrastructure organisation. You will make a direct impact on the north's drive to Net Zero.
As the Lead EUC Engineer you will work as part of a team of 7 across this organisation with the overall purpose of the role to act as the SME within the EUC service tower taking a senior lead in both the break/fix service & project work for the business.
The lead EUC engineer will work closely with the EUC tower lead, Architects, Product Change Managers & 3rd Parties in developing a sustainable, strategic EUC service. You will lead on troubleshooting issues using a sustained approach ensuring these principles are followed by the rest of the team.
You will act as SME on new system implementation projects; lead on knowledge transfer including documentation of new processes to support Service Transition. You will provide cover for the EUC tower lead and develop & maintain relationships with 3rd parties & business stakeholders at all levels to improve the EUC service & customer satisfaction and assist in the successful creation & delivery of the EUC Design & Strategy.
You will need to have as much of the following experience as possible:
- Experience in a desktop support/end user compute support role
- Knowledge of current & past Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Intune
- Microsoft Active Directory & Azure Active Directory knowledge
- Break fix, Incidents, Projects
- Experience with Ticket Management
- Comfortable with liaising & working alongside 3rd Parties
- Knowledge of mobile devices, specifically Android & iOS
