We’re working with a forward-thinking national advisory business that is looking to appoint a Head of M&A London to take ownership of their established but high-potential M&A offering. With a strong platform, ambitious leadership, and significant investment in growth, this is a rare opportunity to play a central role in building something great.
The Role:
As Head of M&A, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing the current M&A team in London
- Driving origination strategy and building a strong pipeline of lower mid-market transactions (typically £10m–£100m EV)
- Executing deals across a variety of sectors, leveraging an impressive client base and national footprint
- Mentoring and developing junior talent and shaping the future structure of the team
- Acting as a key member of the senior leadership group, influencing firmwide strategy and growth initiatives
About You:
- Proven track record in originating and leading mid-market M&A transactions (lead advisory)
- Strong network across the London dealmaking community
- Experience managing and developing teams
- Accounting firm or lower-mid market boutique background is the preference
