Troi Search are seeking a Lead level Mobile Engineer (React Native) for a Post Series B, B2C App. Your expertise will drive the evolution of the consumer-facing application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert wireframes and UI designs into high-performance code.
- Develop and optimize user-facing features across iOS and Android platforms.
- Continuously enhance app performance through benchmarking and improvements.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to test and implement new ideas.
- Analyze user behavior and experiment results to drive innovation.
What You’ll Achieve in Your First Year:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the mobile application.
- Increase both the quality and frequency of production deployments.
- Play a key role in scaling and mentoring the engineering team.
- Define and track performance metrics, driving optimization across the stack.
- Represent engineering in strategic planning sessions.
What We’re Looking For:
Must haves:
- 5+ years of front-end development experience on consumer-facing applications (required)
- Strong expertise in React Native (required)
- Experience with Expo, EAS, Maestro & React Query
- Proficiency in TypeScript
Nice to haves:
- Experience with Node.js frameworks like Express.js or Koa.js would be useful
- Experience with Tamagui (UI Library)
- Experience with Sentry
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with GraphQL, Kotlin, Swift, and GCP/AWS are all advantageous.
