Garment Technologist The company A highly successful Designer Brand is expanding and requires an experienced Womenswear Garment Technologist to join their team. Working on soft separates and tailoring. The company has a small menswear range as well. Really lovely friendly company. This role is based in their London Studio. No work from home. Garment Technologist -The Role This is a exciting role for a dynamic individual who would like to progress their career. Working very closely with the Design and Production team this position will involve: Working on design led womenswear collections multi product woven dresses, tops skirts trousers jackets etc jersey & wovens. There is no pattern cutting or amendments in this role. But you must have a comprehensive understanding of pattern construction and balance. Attending fit meetings with the designer & correctly processing all resulting information. Creating production packs & all related paperwork, at all times adhering to critical path schedule Liaison with factories via our production office & helping to improve factory standards which requires a solid understanding of factory production methods.
