Our client, an industry leading design and manufacturing company, are looking for a Design Consultant to work within their Design Team.
As a Design Consultant you will play a key role in supporting clients through every aspect of the sales, design and installation process, ensuring they receive excellence in products and service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building lasting relationships with new and existing clients, holding insightful consultations via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Actively listening to clients’ needs to determine their requirements and recommending bespoke solutions.
- Developing, overseeing, and presenting proposals that align with client specifications.
- Conducting site surveys, taking basic measurements and assessing each site for design feasibility.
- Maintaining meticulous records, client logs, and databases to ensure streamlined project management and communication.
The ideal Design Consultant will be driven and customer-oriented with a keen eye for design and a passion for hands-on work in a dynamic, creative environment.
You will also have:
- Experience in a customer-focused, consultative sales role
- Knowledge of measuring, surveying, and an understanding of materials, structural capacities, and design principles
- A good level of IT proficiency to allow you to manage client data, project details, and proposal submissions
The role is office-based role, Monday-Friday, core hours are 9am-5pm.
Benefits include a company car, phone and generous uncapped commission, allowing you to earn and average of 5,000- 6,000 on top of your basic salary.
Applicants with a driving licence will be at a distinct advantage as you will need to attend client sites across London and the South East to complete surveys, but many are accessible via public transport.
