Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Support Engineer / Technical Consultant to join our high profile client. Our client is a global trading platform software business. Its products are used globally by most asset managers and pension funds. They are well known in the fintech space and have offices globally. You will be part of a team of 20 in the technical consulting space.
This role is a perfect stepping stone to custom architecture in the financial services space. Working with cloud-based, state-of-the-art technology, and a microservices-based wealth management product, the Technical Consultant / Analyst Programmer focuses on integrating software into clients' operating environments, while showing clients how to use products more efficiently to help reach their objectives and targets.
Technical Consultants / Support Developers must have:
- A background in software engineering, with a good level of understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Design, Implementation, Testing, Deployment and Support phases.
- Knowledge of Application servers such as Jboss/WebSphere.
- Technical experience with designing systems utilising OOAD, SOA, Java, J2EE, Spring, React.js, Node JS, Hibernate, SOAP/REST web services using XML/JSON, Spring security, SpringBoot and AMQP/RabbitMQ.
- Experience in writing SQL query reports and creation of data correction scripts including writing stored procedures using SQL Server.
- An understanding of common AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, Lambda, AWS MQ).
