The Role
- Devise and deliver a social media content strategy to increase engagement from customers and manage press relations.
- Social Media (70% of the role)
- Create engaging content for Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
- Schedule content across platforms.
- Produce and film compelling short-form video content.
- Work with in-house Graphics team.
- Use analytics to track performance and identify opportunities.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis reports.
- Outreach on social media to promote campaigns.
- Oversee comment moderation and foster engagement within social channels to maintain a positive and interactive online community.
- Secure press coverage, establishing strong relationships with media outlets, prepare displays for press events.
- Write and distribute press releases for all global projects, maintaining message accuracy and consistency.
- Manage media inquiries and facilitate interviews or press opportunities as needed.
- Prep and stage press events and displays for auction-related press visits.
- Monitor and compile press coverage for projects, providing insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business stakeholders to define a Key Partner/Influencer strategy.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key influencers, serving as the main point of contact and continually seeking new partnership opportunities.
The Person
- 2 years+ experience running digital marketing campaigns and social media.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
- Creative flair and up-to-date knowledge on social media engagement.
- Knowledge and understanding of social algorithms and search engine optimisation (SEO).
- Good organisational and time-management skills; able to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to present to camera for short-form video content.
- Interest in Movies, Music, and Memorabilia is desirable but not required.
- Graphic creation and video editing skills are desirable.
- Adobe Photoshop or the Adobe Suite is desired but not necessary.
- Experience using Cision or other press-monitoring platform for database tracking is desirable.
- Established relationships with media contacts or influencers in relevant industries is desirable.
