Join our client’s premium hospitality group as an HR & Payroll Manager in a role that covers multiple sites, primarily based in Cornwall but with occasional travel. This is a unique chance to make a lasting impact on their people, processes, and culture! As our HR & Payroll Manager, you’ll work closely with the Group HR Manager across a range of HR functions, including recruitment, training, employee engagement, payroll, and compliance. This role is a group role covering multiple sites, the successful candidate will be based in Cornwall but may be required to travel to other sites during working hours. Key Responsibilities: General HR Ensure legal HR compliance, maintaining personnel records, and updating Fourth system. Conduct audits, assist in grievances/disciplinaries, attend operations meetings, and carry out salary bench-marking. Recruitment & On-boarding Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring documentation, welcoming new hires, and conducting thorough inductions. Training & Development Manage training requirements, monitor module completions, support internships and apprenticeships, and liaise with external training providers. Employee Engagement Foster strong relationships with teams and managers, support HR procedures, promote company rewards, and represent the group at careers fairs. Payroll Management Run monthly payroll, process pensions, resolve queries, and report payroll figures to HR and Finance.
