FINTEC recruit is seeking a Project Engineer for our engineering client based in Aberdeenshire. This is a permanent position working 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Salary is £35,000 to £50,000 depending on experience plus some great additional benefits e.g. private medical & dental/critical illness, contributory pension & more.
If you have a fabrication/engineering background and enjoy building relationships, this is the ideal role for you, where you will be the key contact for project liaison with company clients & internal stakeholders within engineering and fabrication teams.
Responsibilities:- Ensuring that fabrication, vessel, and offshore scopes run smoothly and efficiently; assisting with project documentation preparation and reports
- Oversee planning, interpreting fabrication drawings – monitoring progress and providing regular updates
- Meeting timelines while ensuring quality and safety standards are met
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams for project success
- Identify and resolve any technical issues effectively, while maintaining a focus on quality & on-time delivery to meet client expectations
- Have a proven experience in working in fabrication or a manufacturing environment
- Able to read & interpret fabrication and technical drawings
- Highly organised in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Good IT skills.
