We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire Stopper to join our team, covering Glasgow and Edinburgh. In this permanent role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and compliance of various residential, commercial, and industrial buildings through effective fire stopping measures. Key Responsibilities: * Installing fire stopping systems, including fire-resistant seals, barriers, boards, mastic, and intumescent products. * Conducting fire stopping in line with industry standards and regulatory compliance, including BS 476 and EN standards. * Inspecting and maintaining fire-stopping installations to ensure long-term efficacy. * Working collaboratively with site teams and reporting on progress to supervisors. * Documenting all work in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. * Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized working environment. Requirements: * Proven experience in fire stopping or a similar role. * Knowledge of passive fire protection techniques and materials. * CSCS card (blue or relevant certification for fire stopping). * Awareness of health and safety regulations, including Asbestos Awareness. * Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. * Self-motivated and reliable with excellent attention to detail. * Full UK Driving License. Desirable Skills: * BM Trada or FIRAS certification. * Experience working in residential and commercial environments. * IPAF or PASMA certification (preferred but not essential).
